I was intrigued by the frost lines that appeared on my kitchen window on the one really cold day. I was curious how moisture in the air created such straight and complex lines. Is it random dirt on the glass that seeded these crystalline lines, or the warmth from the inside against the cold on the outside, or the wind, etc. . . .
This experience led me to think about how to make abstract images that have facts behind them. In other words, images are made of what was given to me and I give up overall control of final composition.
