I am intrigued by abstraction that induces multiple ways of seeing and perceiving reality. Perception and interpretation help to consturct our lives and to deal with reality.

Systems and the way we understand the world thru system fascinate me. This world is comprised of system and order; unknowingly or knowingly they affect our lives greatly. Knowing that the world is not how we think it is, how can I alter the way we perceive? Investigating these issues eventually connects me to the question of, why we are here and where we are going.

My intension is to apply and create systems and patterns, and visualize information in a universal language of geometry. It is fascinating to see how colors and material quality contribute to the work visually and conceptually, and to evoke emotions to the viewers and lead to something unexpected.

Life in this world is a sequence of random events. The randomness that has relevance to my life interests me. I record and map out these seemingly insignificant experiences in my everyday life into abstract images and systems. I am interested in the notion of how small dots of chance collide and generate something in the certain period of time. How can random and chance create meaning? How can I discover something I have never seen in the familiar and the personal?

There are certain ways of constructing reality that helps us live better. But we all are different. It is fascinating to see how each one of our perceptions affect our society as a whole.
